WRITING AND MUSIC PRODUCTION MY JOB
When Covid hit, all our work came to a halt. The music we were doing in our programs was copyrighted. We had the right to use it in our work, but we could not record it for the internet or Youtube. So, I became a music producer with professional music software and we started writing our own songs and made our own backing tracks for recording.
THEN WE WOULD RECORD OUR SONG OVER OUR OWN BACKING TRACK
As we listened to the backing track through headphones we would simply sing over the recording. When the vocal was complete that's when I would begin the editing and mixing part to hopefully produce a quality recording. This was nothing more than learn as you go. We had to join a distributor and discovered it was just as simple to become our own Recording Label; so we did.
"FELLOWSHIP RECORDINGS" is our Label.
To answer your question, NO, THERE IS NO REAL MONEY IN THIS FOR SMALL SCALE MUSIC PRODUCERS. But we learned a lot and it gave us something fun we can continue to do.
